CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

The Bristol Law Review is a student-led journal. We accept articles and case comments, the word-limit for articles being 10,000 words, non-inclusive of footnotes, and for case comments 4,000 words, inclusive of footnotes. We prefer case comments on recent cases, but we also welcome case comments that take a new approach to, or shed new light on, an important older case.

There are no eligibility requirements to make a submission, any legal academic writing is welcome. Submissions are invited from all students who are studying at a higher education institution in the United Kingdom or Ireland, or internationally. We warmly encourage submissions from students who are writing legal dissertations or legal research projects as part of their undergraduate or postgraduate degree courses, provided these articles have not been and will not be published elsewhere. Submissions may be co-authored. We do not have a strict limit on the permissible number of co-authors for a submission. However, the number of co-authors should be reasonable in the light of the length and content of a submission

All submission should be made using the form below. Before submitting your article, please ensure that you have read pour submission guidelines here.

The Bristol Law Review does not accept submissions that are being considered by, or have been published in, other journals, law reviews, or blogs (other than personal SSRN pages). Authors must agree not to submit pieces submitted to the Bristol Law Review for consideration to any other journal, law review, or blog until the end of the review cycle.
